Too often, disability applicants do not tell their doctors about all of their medical problems. This could be because they are embarrassed or because they are afraid of overwhelming the doctor with too many medical problems. Unfortunately, if you fail to mention a problem on a particular visit, it will not show up in the record, and SSA might assume it does not exist.
